Player Rivalry (Blue Oak x Reader x Red) Chapt 1

What would happen if trainers weren't allowed to start their journey until they turned 18? What would their high-school lives look like?
Hmm...


"Would you please just shut up." Blue moaned dramatically as Red followed him through the halls. Red's face showed no amusement as he crossed his arms, but he didn't reply. He simply quickened his pace, moving ahead and flipping Blue off behind his back without anyone seeing.
Blue growled. It was the first day of school and he was not pleased to see his childhood enemy again first thing. Blue headed into his first class, English, and sat down. Glancing around, he studied the other students.

The first person he noticed was Leaf. None of the kids knew much about her except that she was in a foster home and was quite the player. Every boy knew she was a dangerous one to be around. Blue grinned. He couldn't help but wonder if he'd be able to out play the player.
The second person there was Red, of course. Blue stuck his nose in the air and quickly averted his eyes to observe the others.
There was no one else there that he knew. The rest were new kids: two girls and another boy. Pallet High was a small school; there were only five other high-schoolers other than those in his current class.

Blue was a sophomore this year. He would be turning 16 in a couple of months, making him the oldest in his grade. He really wasn't too old for his grade; Red and Leaf were actually young for 10th.
"So Leaf," Blue leaned forward to speak to the girl ahead of him. "Why'd you come back? I thought you said you were moving to Pewter for the rest of your high-school years."
Leaf rolled her eyes before replying, "Turns out my foster parents wanted Silver to do Junior high here, so I'm stuck here as well."

"Ah," Blue leaned back, just in time for the English teacher to walk in. He was tall, pale, and balding.
"Greetings class," He spoke in a British accent. "My name is Mr Potts. I will be your English professor for this quarter."
Mr Potts appeared unamused by the snickering that rose from the class.
"After October I will be relieved by Miss Dumpette-" The class was now roaring in laughter, leaving Mr Potts exasperated.
"Will you pipe down or must I take a grade on your ability to concentrate?"

At that very moment, a flummoxed looking girl dashed into the room and landed on a seat in the back row. Her face was red and her hair was a mess. The rest of the students immediately fell silent.
"You're late." Was Potts simple remark.
Blue couldn't help but stare at this new girl. She looked weird. Her eyes were funny and her cheeks didn't look right. Blue cocked his head trying to figure out why until hit hit him.
She didn't have any make-up on.

"Now then class, if you'll pay attention to me."
First period seemed to flash by in a blur. Once it was over, you and the rest of the class all headed for your lockers to get the things for your next class. For you it was Computer Science.
You opened your locker when without warning your things all fell to the ground. You put your face in your hands, frustrated. Every time you were in front of people or in a hurry, this sort of thing would happen. As you knelt down to begin picking them up, a boy with fluffy brown hair and chocolate brown eyes also knelt down and began to pick up your books. A slight pink pigment flushed your cheeks as you found yourself surprised by this act of kindness.
"Oh, um, thank you." You said softly. The boy simply smiled and let out a small laugh. You took your books from him and stood back up, shyly hurrying to your next class.
You didn't stay long enough to see that boy flip off another behind his back.
