Literature Text

Keep away from Pumpkaboohead,
Unless you're tired of living.
His enemies are mostly dead,
He's mean and unforgiving.
Laugh at him and your undone,
But in some dreadful fashion.
Vengeance he considers fun,
And plans it with a passion.
Time will not erase or blot,
A plot that he has brewing.
It's when you think that he's forgot,
He'll conjure your undoing.
Bolted doors and windows barred.
Guard Arcanine prowling in your yard.
Won't protect you in your bed.
Nothing will, from Pumpkaboohead.

Blue wept silently as Red was lead into the champion's room. Blue had hardly been champion for a day and he was already defeated by his rival. The one person he could not best.
"This isn't fair!" He growled to himself. "Gramps didn't even care that I had made it, and now Red gets all the fame!"
Blue left the league building and walked through the trees, away from everything he knew. The sun began to set, blanketing the region in darkness. Just when Blue was about to bring his Pidgeot out to fly home, he saw a small cabin. Curiosity nipped him in the side, so he drudged forward and rapped his knuckles on the door.
The door creaked open, revealing the wrinkled face of Agatha.
"Ah, Blue. I was expecting you."
"Huh?" Blue found himself being pulled into the cottage by the elderly woman.
"I heard about young Red." She stated, pulling a pot from the crackling fireplace.
"It's a pity your time as champion was so short."
Blue clinched his fists angrily.
"He only won because of a damn critical hit!" He snarled. Agatha chuckled.
"I don't blame you for being angry." She stated simply, sprinkling some spices into the pot. A sour scent wafted from it, causing Blue to cover his nose. The way Agatha spoke suggested she wanted him to ask.
And Blue wanted to ask. He just didn't know what it was he wanted to ask.
"...What?" He finally sighed, irritated by his odd curiosity.
"...I can help you." Agatha stared him straight in the eyes.
"Help me with what?" Blue scoffed. "I beat you becoming Champion, there's no way you can help me beat Red."
"Not all things are done through a Pokemon battle." Agatha told him, putting the pot back on the fire.
Blue found himself confused.
"What do you mean?"
Agatha turned to look him back in the eye again.
"You want Red gone. I can help you with that."
It took a moment for Blue to understand what Agatha meant.
"You mean...you would kill him?"
"Goodness gracious, no! I would never touch him." Agatha said, putting emphasis on "I."
Blue cocked his head.
"Then how can you help me?"
Agatha sighed, slowly sitting down on a chair.
"Have you ever heard of Pumpkaboohead?" She asked. Blue shook his head.
"No,"
"Pity. It's a fascinating tale. And it's true too."
Blue put his hands on his hips.
"How is a grass and ghost type Pokemon supposed to help me get rid of Red?"
Agatha chuckled.
"You youngsters are too hot blooded. Here, come with me."
The old woman stood and lead Blue out into the dark night, deeper into the forest.
A Pokehorror that has nothing to do with Lavender Town? Who would've thought...
I'll be updating this story in the same Deviation instead of adding chapters. Chapters just make things less scary.
